Bristol Compact
What is The Compact?
The Bristol Compact is the agreement between local public agencies and the voluntary, community & social enterprise (VCSE) sector. It defines and strengthens postive working relationships by establishing a set of working principles and a framework for developing better working practices and positive partnership working.
The Bristol Partnership (Bristol's local strategic partnership) has adopted the Bristol Compact. The implementation of the Bristol Compact is the responsibility of the Compact Partners' Group, which includes representatives of the Black Development Agency, The Care Forum, Volunteering Bristol, Voscur, Bristol City Council, NHS Bristol, Avon & Somerset Constabulary and Avon Fire & Rescue.
